Join us for More Than Words on Saturday, May 31 at 2PM at The Piggery! Celebrate the writers of Write Here Write Now and kick off the Piggery’s 60th season with a delightful afternoon of plays, poems, prose, and songs. No tickets are required—just a donation for the Pig. Enjoy free tea, coffee, snacks, door prizes, and a chance to purchase WHWN anthologies and books by local writers. A literary celebration with surprises in store!
Mystery Dinner
To Celebrate the 60th anniversary at the Piggery Theatre the Mystery play to be presented will be 'Middle of the Night' . This play was the very 1st play performed at the Piggery in 1965 and will be acted out throughout the dinner and evening with changes and twists. As usual with he mystery show there will be come surprises and the guests will have to solve the Mystery at the end of the evening.

Bowser & Blue return to the Piggery Theatre for a hilarious afternoon of sharp wit and musical satire! The Woodshredders
The Woodshredders, featuring Terry Joe “Banjo” and “High Lonesome” Pat Loiselle, bring high-energy acoustic fun with their tribute show Bobgrass! A celebration of Bob Dylan’s legendary songwriting, they reimagine his classics in a foot-stomping bluegrass style. Armed with banjo, mandolin, guitar, dobro, harmonica, ukulele, and more, they'll be joined by Kevin “Billybugs” Baker on bass. Expect lively folk, blues, and country vibes, rare old-timey gems, and crowd-pleasing singalongs that'll get you clapping, toe-tapping—and maybe even dancing!

About Piggery Theatre
Established 60 years ago, The Piggery Theatre has been rated as the third best Summer theatre in Canada (Ottawa Citizen). This year the theatre is offering another exciting season of entertainment. There are plays, comedians, magicians, musical revues and good country suppers and parties lined up for your enjoyment and pleasure.
We are located on a quiet country road, in the woodsy hills, near the lake town of North Hatley, a treasure of a village renowned for high quality Inns, B&Bs, quaint shops and 4 star restaurants.
The Piggery has seating capacity of 250, a huge stage adaptable for many types of entertainment, a charming country restaurant on the lower level with a bar and patio for pleasant summer evening dining or private parties.
In a peaceful country setting, The Piggery is an ideal facility for weddings, conventions, anniversary parties or family reunions.
The theatre is close to the towns of North Hatley, Sherbrooke, Lennoxville, Coaticook, Ayer's Cliff, Magog and to USA's Vermont borderline.

A $4.00 convenience charge is applicable to each ticket purchased by telephone. - In person: Directions and Map.
Tickets may be purchased during regular box office hours using Cash, Visa, MC or Debit.
Tickets will be held at the box office under your name and will be available for pick up on the day of the performance.
Tickets purchased through our box office can be mailed to you, upon request for an additional charge of $5.50 per order.
